Grade 6000 Rebar (Dipstick)

Cold-laminated and corrugated wire, flattened and cut, can be used as concrete reinforcement.
The corrugations (bulges or outward flanges) around the surface of the cylindrical bar inhibit the relative longitudinal movement between the rebar and the concrete that surrounds it.

Characteristics

Grade 6000 rebar meets all NMX-B-072 requirements.
Grade 6000 rebar offers high ductility and a higher resistance than grade 4200 rebar.

Applications and uses

It is used in buildings where it’s necessary to lower the volume of steel while keeping the resistance. It is used in precast items such as beams and tiles.
